Terms & Conditions

This terms & conditions contains the entire understanding between LeefShotIt and the client. All terms are considered agreed upon at the time of booking.

Turn Around Time

3 week turn around post shoot for all Image retouches (expedited for a fee).

4 week turn around post shoot for all video editing (expedited for a fee)

Deposit & Payment

Client agrees to pay a 50% deposit fee at the time of booking to secure the appointments date and time. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit fee that goes towards your session. The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer, basic retouching and creative decisions; determined by the photographer.

Full completion of payment is due at the time of the shoot.

All costs are as stated at the time of booking & will remain once booking is confirmed. The full contract amount is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Upon your purchase, LeefShotIt will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, the payment is non-refundable.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, the client may reschedule their session at least 1 week prior to their shoot without penalty. Should the client fail to give 1 week notice, a rescheduling fee may be charged. If the client decides to cancel the shoot, this session fee is forfeited and will not be refunded to the client and LeefShotIt shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or computer malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the Client’s order. LeefshotIt reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment, malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control, at the LeefShotIt’s discretion.

Retouches & Edits

All edits include an allotted number of retouches. If you would like any additional retouched photos, there is a fee per image requested. If you’d like any additional photo unedited there is also fee per image requested.

Artistic Style

Client acknowledges that she/he has viewed examples of previous work and is satisfied with the overall style of photography that is presented. Client understands that differences in locations, subjects and lighting allow for variations in the final outcome of the session. There is no knowing what photos will be produced from this endeavor simply because this is an event in the future. LeefShotIt also reserves the right to artistically interpret how to capture a scene.

Re-Shoot/ Refunds

Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of LeefShotIt. Re-shoots and refunds will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair or weather-related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the LeefShotIt.

Copyright, Reproductions, CREATIVE LICENSE, & COVERAGE

LeefShotIt owns the copyright to all images/videos created during the session and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. LeefShotIt maintains the right to make reproductions for the client or for the LeefShotIt’s portfolio, self-promotions, entry in photographic contests or art exhibitions, editorial use, or for display within or on the outside of LeefShotIt’s studio.

Photographs taken during the course of the session will be at the discretion of the photographer although every effort will be made to comply with the clients requirements. 

Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the client's wishes. LeefshotIt will do their best to honor the requested photographs but do not undertake to guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background, location or group arrangements due to changes in weather and the availability and willingness of subjects.

For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the photographer's movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer's choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case. 

Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colors may alter throughout a set of photographs. 

Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, the photographer will not be responsible for photographs that are not produced due to technical failure.
